Generation is a forecast now, consumption is no longer a stable curve, assets report continuously and the rules change faster than the systems built to follow them. The data to decide well exists — scattered across operational systems, market platforms, regulatory filings and the spreadsheets people built when none of those talked to each other. In a large company reaching it means a ticket and a queue. In a small one it means one person rebuilding the same picture by hand every week.
